Hey, everyone!, whats up?woh, let's get back with my previous question in my last post, "when was the last time i posted?" lol , sorry guys because i've been very very busy this past few weeks, so yeah.because of school. Anyways whats with the title?=D "when randomness plays with you", it always happens to me. totally! (here we go again, another non sense topic), sometimes when randomness becomes retardedness, and im feeling so insane. so yeah., but what is Randomness? Randomness is a lack of order, purpose, cause, or predictability. its like you feel something thats just happened. and theyre going back and back all over again, and they're going to mix up, anyways lets just get off this in fucking non sense topic. i totally feel random right now. srry, u know how useless i am.

Anyways this past few weeks ive been very very busy because of so many school works, and we just had our 3rd prelim. last last week and now we're going to have our 3rd midterm tomorrow, so what can ya say abt that. im sick of this. i feel like i dont wanna go to school anymorrrrrrrrrre!!!!... lol but i wont. im just exhausted dude like WHOA!!!!!

Let's take a look of what happened "at least interesting part" this past few weeks in my very tiring, boring, f*ing life, lets start off with..

November 29, 2008 Saturday

We went to SM Taytay, with my fave cousin evaaaaaaaaa! Jessica. we watched Twilight. yeah so what can i say about the movie? the movie is a joke compared to the book. When I watched the movie, for me, it was good. because before, I've actually been expecting so much from the movie ever since seeing the trailer. But when I've watched the movie, I wasn't really impressed as I thought I would've been before. though im satisfied. I noticed that there are Lots of scenes, some very important even, were cut. And the special relationship (it was very very special and their conversations and I really pictured them to be so good together when I read the book) and the very special, dazzling relationship between Edward and Bella wasn't really evident in the movie. I could go on and on about the movie's flaws but I won't bother anymore. x)

Anyway, my point is.. The movie was pretty ok. It's actually very nice IF you haven't read the book yet. But of course, it can't beat your own imagination when you read the book yourself - like, how you'll picture the things that are happening and all. Like other books turned into a big screen movies, the movie doesn't really gave the book the justice it deserves. But then again, the movie was actually good itself; when not compared to the book, But still The Dark Knight Rocks! haha If im going to rate it, its gonna be 6/10, period. :(

We went to Trinoma, and we watched Bolt, i must say, i like it more than Twilight (for me, for me, no offense), peace!, man it was really an awesome movie! the story, the 3D effects, and i would love to rate this a 9/10, its really great movie , not that perfect but still rocks! a funny and touching movie, btw when rhino makes the smily face on the plastic ball after he says “well have to use stealth” made me pee my pants. its one of the best movie ive ever seen in my whole entire life! anyways, after we watched it, went to the department store and i bought a new pair of converse hi-cut, and a new hoodie (goddamit i love hoodies so much). then went home.

December 14, 2008 Sunday

We went to SM Marikina, to buy some "Pampasko" wahahahaha, i bought a new shirts and pants, and bought a new pair of snickers! hahaha! and then we watched Quarantine, its filled with plenty of scares, jumps and truckloads of tension. I think it has been one of the better "horror/thriller" films released this 2008, a must-see! it has a good story line! great cast.

The characters in the movie must struggle to stay alive, locked inside an apartment block. although a little slow to start it soon picks up with tonnes of suspense the way a good horror should be. i will give it a Perfect 10, because i really love horror movies. this movie scared me so much :D.

HOWS IT GOIN? lol when was the last i posted? (again). haha lol anyways its good to be back. anyways. last oct 9 we had our educational tour. yeah it was hella fun. i learned new things again wehehehe. wht? we went first to Villamor Airbase in Pasay its an air base for PAF transport and helicopter flights. we saw lots of aircrafts . like big airplanes wow! haha. and a museum and so on. then next the GSIS Musuem we saw lotsa paintings by our famous painters. it was hella awesome. and then we went to Science Entertainment Museum. and STAR CITY! where we had a lotsa fun. lol.

"MY BIRTHDAY" went to sm taytay with my cousin jessica, we watched high school musical 3. then we went to greenwich, then to odyssey we bought the hsm 3 soundtrack and then went to nbs i bought the book of stephen king called "blaze" then after that we went home. it wasnt so special =P

we had our school halloween party, and it was hella fun. we danced all night so yeah. very tiring. =)

we went to greenhills, we watched city of ember. and all i can say is it was awesome. the amazing effects. and yeah the superb cast. whoa and i really enjoyed watching it. like i wanna watch it again. its one of the must see movie of the year. anyways after that went to mcdonalds, then i bought a new hoodie. then a new pair of snickers then we went home.

last week we had our 2nd quarterly exam. i wish i could pass it. =)

wt abt Hancock? ive watched it already. and all i can say is, it was horribly flawed movie that was as ridiculous as it was poorly executed. That crap kept my butt in the seat but not shouting its praise when I left the theater. The kind of movie that makes me get up and leave “mid-story” is a special kind of lower tier of crap that makesme want Dante to start digging out new levels of hell. I would rather go and see the Dark Knight again. ;p, its simply the best.

i wanna watch Swing Vote, It looks like a good comedy , the cast was awesome, especially Kevin Costner and that little girl Madeline Carroll.

Iran given two-week deadline to end the nuclear impasse

Iran was given a fortnight to agree to freeze its uranium enrichment programme yesterday or face further international isolation.

After a day of inconclusive talks in Geneva, a six-nation negotiating team warned the Iranian delegation that it had run out of patience and demanded a 'yes or no' answer to a proposal it put forward five weeks ago.

Under that offer, sponsored jointly by the US, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China, Iran would not expand its uranium enrichment programme, while the international community refrained from imposing further sanctions. This phase would last six weeks, possibly paving the way for suspension of enrichment and more comprehensive talks.

The failure to reach agreement appeared likely to trigger new European and UN sanctions and to raise tensions in the Gulf. An Iranian rejection would also represent a rebuff to conciliatory moves from Washington, including the dispatch of a senior diplomat to Geneva to attend high-level talks with the Iranians for the first time in nearly three decades. The diplomat, William Burns, left Geneva without making any public comments.

Javier Solana, the European Union foreign policy chief leading the international negotiating team, said the talks were 'constructive', but admitted: 'We didn't get the answer we were hoping for. I hope very much we will get an answer to our question presented five weeks ago and we hope we will get it in two weeks.'

Solana would not specify what the consequences would be if there was no positive response from Iran in the next fortnight, but Western officials at the talks said there was consensus among the six nations, including Russia and China, that it would be interpreted as a rejection and trigger a new round of UN Security Council sanctions.

'They have been told this is your last meeting. We are not doing this again. Go back to Tehran and you have a week or two at most to give a yes or no,' one official said.

Another Western source involved in the talks said: 'There was some impatience voiced by a number of people at the meeting that we want a clear answer.'

Asked at a press conference, the chief nuclear negotiator for Iran and head of its delegation, Saeed Jalili, ducked a direct opinion on the freeze proposal. 'We have been talking about that for many hours,' Jalili said. 'What is more important is for us to have a constructive approach and bring that approach to the table, so that we can later deal with our shared worries and concerns.'

A negotiating document presented at the meeting by Jalili and seen by The Observer also talked vaguely about future co-operation but did not directly mention Iran's nuclear activities. In the next few days the European Union is due to approve new financial sanctions aimed at Tehran's banking system. Those are likely to be followed by a fresh round of Security Council talks in September on stepping up international sanctions, although both Russia and China oppose radical measures.

The US and Britain have also raised the possibility of pursuing an embargo of Iran's oil industry, including a block on imports of petrol and diesel. And the breakdown of talks is likely to strengthen the urgings of hawks in Israel for pre-emptive military action to halt Iran's nuclear programme.

Western officials in Geneva said that they were encouraged that all six nations represented in the Solana delegation, including Russia and China, presented a common front and made repeated efforts to urge Jalili to focus on the 'freeze for freeze' proposal.
The meeting took place in Geneva's 16th-century town hall, in the same room that the Red Cross was founded and the first Geneva convention on the treatment of war wounded was signed in 1864.

Taliban likely to step up attacks in Afghanistan

The Taliban has regrouped after its initial fall from power in Afghanistan and the pace of its attacks is likely to increase this year, according to a Pentagon report that offers a dim view of progress in the nearly seven-year-old war.

Noting that insurgent violence has climbed, the report said that despite U.S. and coalition efforts to capture and kill key leaders, the Taliban is likely to "maintain or even increase the scope and pace of its terrorist attacks and bombings in 2008."

The Taliban, it said, has "coalesced into a resilient insurgency."

At the same time, the Afghan Army and national police are progressing slowly and still lack the trainers they need.

The report was released Friday along with a separate plan for the development of Afghan security forces. They are the first two comprehensive Pentagon reports to evaluate progress in Afghanistan.

Vast problems — corruption, the illegal poppy trade, human rights abuses and slow progress in reconstruction — were detailed, as well as the struggle to train and equip the Afghan Army and police.

The report described a dual terror threat in Afghanistan that includes the Taliban in the south, and "a more complex, adaptive insurgency" in the east. That fragmented insurgency is made up of groups ranging from al-Qaida and Afghan warlords such as Gulbuddin Hekmatyar's radical Hezb-i-Islami group to Pakistani militants such as Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Insurgents will continue to challenge the government in southern and eastern Afghanistan, and the may also move to increase their power in the north and west, the report predicted.

The assessment was bluntly pessimistic as it described efforts to train the Army and police.

As of March, it said, just one Army battalion and a headquarters unit could operate independently, while 26 battalions, five brigade headquarters and two corps headquarters units could plan and execute counterinsurgency operations with the support of coalition forces.

In addition, as of the spring, the U.S. had provided only 44 percent of the nearly 2,400 trainers needed for the Afghan Army, and just 39 percent of the mentors for the Afghan police.

Development of the Afghan police is taking longer and has been hindered by "corruption, insufficient U.S. military trainers and advisers, and a lack of unity of effort within the international community," the report noted.

The recent deployment of 1,200 U.S. Marines to serve as trainers for the police has beefed up the totals, but when those troops leave in the fall, the need for 1,400 police mentors will remain.

Overall there are 32,000 U.S. troops in Afghanistan, including 14,000 serving with the NATO forces and another 18,000 conducting training and counterinsurgency. As of Friday, the Defense Department has confirmed the deaths of 527 U.S. troops in Afghanistan, along with 310 from other coalition members since the start of the war in late 2001.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates referred to the worsening problems in Afghanistan on Thursday, noting that when he traveled to the border area of Khost last year, security was better.

"It actually was not bad until a few months ago," said Gates. "This is a fairly recent phenomenon of seeing the numbers (of insurgents) come across the border. After all, Khost was an example of a successful counterinsurgency."

A key to the deterioration there, he said, has been recent efforts by Pakistan to negotiate peace agreement with tribal leaders along the lawless border. Those talks, he said, took the pressure off insurgent groups and "they've therefore been more free to be able to cross the border and create problems for us."

The report concurs, calling the insurgents' safe havens in Pakistan's tribal areas along the border "the greatest challenge to long-term security" in Afghanistan.

On a positive note, there is a nod to the economic and political gains in Afghanistan — including successful elections and improvements within the ministries of defense, foreign affairs and finance. It also that women are now holding government posts and teaching positions — although it said that challenges remain in eliminating human rights abuses.

In a separate report, also required by Congress and focusing on the U.S. approach to developing Afghan security forces, the Pentagon said the goal is to build a national police force of 82,000. The report said that once an assessment is made of recent reform efforts, there should be a decision on whether even larger numbers are needed.
"However, at this point in time, a lack of U.S. military trainers and mentors available for police mentor teams precludes the acceleration or expansion" of the training program, the report said.

The Afghan national army is scheduled to reach a strength of 70,000 by the end of this year, with an ultimate goal of 80,000 soldiers. The Pentagon's report offered no detailed assessment of the performance of either the police or the army; rather it described the structure of U.S. and international efforts to develop the forces and their importance to the overall goal of rebuilding Afghanistan.

Officials: 30,000 troops heading to Iraq in 2009

The Pentagon is preparing to order roughly 30,000 troops to Iraq early next year in a move that would allow the U.S. to maintain 15 combat brigades in the country through 2009, The Associated Press has learned.

The deployments would replace troops currently there. But the decisions could change depending on whether Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, decides in the fall to further reduce troop levels in Iraq.

Several officials familiar with the deployments spoke on condition of anonymity because the orders have not yet been made public.

According to the officials, three active-duty Army brigade combat teams, one Army National Guard brigade and two Marine regimental combat teams are being notified that they are being sent to Iraq in early 2009. Officials would not release the specific units involved because the soldiers and Marines and their families have not all been told.

The Guard unit, however, is the 56th Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, from the Pennsylvania National Guard. Members of that unit — a large brigade with heavily armored Stryker vehicles — were told last October that they should be prepared to deploy to Iraq early in 2009. The order this week is the formal notice that includes a more specific time frame.

Currently, the final brigade involved in the military buildup in Baghdad last year is pulling out of Iraq. That departure will leave 15 combat brigades there — compared to a high of 20 for much of the past year. Other smaller units are also there, including troops doing security, logistics, air assaults, intelligence and medical aid.

Overall, there are about 146,000 forces in Iraq, and that number is expected to dip to about 142,000 by mid-July when that last unit is all out. That total is at least 7,000 more than the number of troops in Iraq before the buildup began early last year.

Petraeus told Congress in May that he is likely to recommend further troop reductions in Iraq, but he did not provide any details. If he decides in the fall that fewer brigades will be needed in Iraq during the next year, there is the chance that brigades could simply be directed to the war in Afghanistan instead.

There is a broad consensus that more troops are needed in Afghanistan, to both train the security forces and fight the insurgents. Defense Secretary Robert Gates and President Bush, earlier this year, told NATO allies that they would increase troop levels in Afghanistan in 2009 in response to the growing violence.

Blog World!!! yeah. today is a boring day. yeppeee!!
